The 2024 Coles County Clash is scheduled for Friday, October 4 at EIU O'Brien Stadium. Kickoff vs. the Charleston Trojans is at 7:00 p.m.
Presale tickets are $5 and are available in the MHS Athletic and Main Offices through Friday, October 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets at the gate will be $6.
Additionally, Mattoon FFA is helping to host a food drive, Fill a Ford, with the Coles County Farm Bureau and Country Financial John Kent and Eric Anderson. Mattoon will be competing with Charleston to see who can collect the most food. The winner will be announced at the Clash. Please bring donations to any of the MHS agriculture rooms by noon on Friday, October 4 to be counted into the drawing. If you miss that deadline, you can drop them off in the Fill-A-Ford truck at the Clash.
Every student who brings five items will be put into a drawing for a free drink for Ginger Ale's in Mattoon. Additionally, they will also be in a drawing sponsored by the Farm Bureau for a $25 gift card to Ginger Ales.
